Elderly Tax Relief

In the fall I established a First Selectman's Ad Hoc Elderly Tax Relief Committee to explore options for property tax relief for Bethany's seniors. The members of that committee; Thelma Lumpkin, Ann Lehman, Katie Schultz, Chip Spear and Skip Borgerson have been meeting monthly to assess the current situation and to determine if any new course of action is practical. I want to thank them for their continuing efforts and will keep you informed of their progress.
