Dodgeball tournament raises more than $10,000 for Boys & Girls Club

The second Annual Boys & Girls Club of Milford Dodgeball Tournament raised more than $10,000.

All proceeds will benefit The Boys & Girls Club programs and initiatives.

The team O.B.Y.F. won the tournament, taking home the championship belts. The double elimination tournament took place March 8 at Jonathan Law High School in Milford.

Participating teams included:

Milford Bank Money Ballers, Milford Kiwanis, CDW Dodgefathers, CDW Ballsagna, CDW Ball So Hard, CDW G Wyld Stallions, CDW Merica, Orange Ale House, West Haven Rotary, Colonial Properties Orange Crush, Milford Republicans, Red Thread Spaces, O.B.Y.F., The Original Dodgefathers, Devon Rotary, Westend Lumber, CT Roller Girls OEM, Title Boxing,  Milford Rotary, TD Bank Green Machine, Milford Police Department Blue Line, Foran High School Wrestling, Milford Democrats Dominating Dems, Jimmy’s Apizza.

“The Boys & Girls Club would like to send a special thanks to all those who attended the tournament and showed their support for the Club,” said Megan Altomare, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Milford. “Thank you to all of the participants, volunteers, sponsors, local organizations and board members who donated time and funds.”

The tournament was sponsored by Milford Bank, OEM Sources, Anthony’s High Tech Auto Center, Chabaso Bakery, Title Boxing Club, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Bowman Signs, Joe’s Missing Link Sausage Co., and Apex. Local organizations involved include: The Milford Kiwanis, Milford Rotary, Devon Rotary, Milford Republicans and Foran High School educators.
