Penguin Thermometer - (4 - 13) Create a penguin thermometer out of foam.

Friday, Jan. 24, 6:30 p.m.

Fish Aquarium - (ages 3 - 13) Create a fish aquarium suitable for hanging out of real starfish, wood and foam. Friday, Jan. 31, 6:45 p.m.

Allow approximately one hour per class. Space is limited to a maximum of 10 children, so please register as soon as possible. Cost of $ 5.00 per child is due upon sign-up.

Creating Balance in Your Life Through Oriental Medicine - Join acupuncturist Yahe Solomon as he discusses the principles of Oriental Medicine and their application to daily life. Topics will include self-help techniques through meditation, shiatsu and nutrition. Thursday, Jan. 23, 6:30 p.m.

Rob Nevins Program - Join Rob Nevins as he discusses his individual nutrition weight loss program that teaches people how to eat everyday foods from the supermarket and to lose excess body fat to achieve optimal health. The goal is fat loss not weight loss. Thursday, Feb. 6, 6:45 p.m.

Cats - The Purring Member of the Family - Join Dr. John Richter of New England Cat Care, in Woodbridge, as he discusses the joys of cat ownership and current medical trends. Topics will include: kidney and thyroid diseases, feline aids vaccine, cat scratch disease, preventative medicine, and care of the feline senior citizen. Thursday, Feb. 20, 6:30 p.m.

Internet Safte y- Open to all adults with a seven-year-old or older. Join East Haven Police Officers Sorbo and McCarthy as they teach parents and children what to look out for on the internet. Learn how adults can check to see what children are doing on the computer and who they talk to in chat rooms. Friday, Feb. 21, 6:30 p.m.

Beecher Road Jazz Band Ensemble - Second Friday evening of every month at 7 p.m.
