Physician specialists will address a variety of health and wellness concerns during Milford Hospital’s series of “Dinner with the Doctor” programs.

Upcoming sessions include: Digestive Health, Varicose Veins and Urgent Care vs. Emergency Room.

On, Monday, Feb. 22, a session titled “It’s a Gut Feeling: Understanding Digestive Health,” will be led by Gastroenterologist Dr. Jennifer Thompson. During her  presentation, Dr. Thompson will address common digestive issues, including what to look for and when to see your physician.

On March 1, Vascular Surgeon Dr. David Esposito will present “You’re so Vein, A Program on Varicose Veins”  and on March 14, Milford Hospital’s Director of Emergency Services, Dr. Christopher Gennino, will provide information on “Urgent Care vs. Emergency Care,” how to know when a health condition warrants a visit to the ER versus a visit to a primary care provider or the Walk In Center.

These sessions are offered as a free service by Milford Hospital to the community. Programs begin at 6 p.m. and are held at Milford Hospital, 300 Seaside Avenue. A light, healthy meal will be served. Time will be allowed for questions and answers. There are a limited number of seats still available in each session. Registration is required.
