“Dinner with the Doctor” is Milford Hospital’s popular new series of community education programming.

Implemented just a year ago, over 1,000 local residents have had their healthcare questions answered by one of many local physician specialists. The February schedule of dinner events includes programs on Heart and Digestive Health.

On, Wednesday, February 10th,  a session titled “Heart Smart,” will be led by Cardiologist, Dr. Clifford Kramer. During his presentation, Dr. Kramer will discuss prevention, diagnosis and treatment options for cardiovascular disease.

On Monday, February 22nd,  Gastroenterologist, Dr. Jennifer Thompson, will present “It’s a Gut Feeling - a Program on Digestive Health.” Dr. Thompson will address common digestive issues,  including what to look for and when to see your physician.

March programs include Vein Health and an informative session on “Urgent Care vs. Emergency Care – How to Know Where to Go.”

These sessions are offered as a free service by Milford Hospital to the community. Programs begin at 6 pm and are held at Milford Hospital, 300 Seaside Avenue.  A light, healthy meal will be served. Time will be allowed for questions and answers.

There are a limited number of seats still available in each session. Registration is required. Call the Milford Hospital Community Education Department 203-876-4004 to reserve your spot.
