Dinner with the Doctor program set for Feb. 22
MILFORD >> Have Your Health Questions Answered During “Dinner with the Doctor” Programs at Milford Hospital Physician specialists address at variety of health and wellness concerns during Milford Hospital’s series of “Dinner with the Doctor” programs. Upcoming sessions include: Digestive Health, Varicose Veins and Urgent Care vs. Emergency Room.
On, Monday, Feb. 22, a session titled “It’s a Gut Feeling: Understanding Digestive Health,” will be led by Gastroenterologist, Dr. Jennifer Thompson. During her presentation, Dr. Thompson will address common digestive issues, including what to look for and when to see your physician.
On March 1, Vascular Surgeon Dr. David Esposito will present “You’re so Vein, A Program on Varicose Veins.”
On March 14, Milford Hospital’s Director of Emergency Services Dr. Christopher Gennino, will provide valuable information on “Urgent Care vs. Emergency Care” how to know when a health condition warrants a visit to the ER versus a visit to your PCP or the Walk In Center.
These sessions are offered as free service by Milford Hospital to the community. Programs begin at 6 p.m. and are held at Milford Hospital, 300 Seaside Ave. A light, healthy meal will be served. Time will be allowed for questions and answers. There are a limited number of seats still available in each session. Registration is required.
