Crushed Grape opens on Melba Street
The Crushed Grape held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony celebration on Thursday, July 19, at 254 Melba St.
Mayor Benjamin Blake, owners Greg and Liz Davies, members of the Milford Chamber of Commerce, as well as family and friends, attended.
The Crushed Grape specializes in fine wines, craft beers and spirits. It also sells Artisanal cheese.
Four Milford residents will staff the shop.
Greg Davies was born and raised in Milford and has 14 years’ experience in the wine and spirit industry.
“After being a wine salesman for 13 years I wanted to open my own store,” he said. “I want to be able to sell wines that people want, not what corporations tell me I have to sell. I enjoy putting good wine in people’s hands.”
A family business, the Crushed Grape will be open seven days a week.
