Connecticut Sports Talk: Oct. 27

On this edition of Nutmeg Sports, Rob and Don catch up on the latest sports news in and around Connecticut.

With many of the fall sports into their last week of the regular season, Rob Adams and Donald Eng take a look at the playoff seedings. Following the show, Rob will head to a field hockey game in New Canaan to see if the Rams can put themselves in line for a home playoff game. Fairfield Warde will try to knock them off.

In boys soccer, the seeds are almost locked up, with a game remaining between New Canaan and Greenwich to decide who plays where. A Greenwich loss and Staples heads to Darien for a date with the Blue Wave on Thursday. That game will air live on the HAN Network.

Girls soccer is almost set as well, with everything going through the St. Joseph Cadets.

A look inside the playoffs in the SCC is also discussed, as Rob and Don break down the pairings in that conference.
