Connecticut Sports Talk, April 26
Frank Granito made his first in-studio visit to Nutmeg Sports to join Rob Adams and Donald Eng. The guys spend the first segment of the program talking about the big upcoming matchup between Darien and New Canaan (Saturday at 1 p.m. on the HAN Network).
Rob tries to get Frank to spend a moment on his beloved New York Rangers and hockey, but Frank is still too depressed to talk about it. So back to lacrosse we go. Before the Rams and Wave meet, New Canaan has a game with Staples (later today at 6:30 on the HAN Network), and Darien plays St. Joseph.
The Wreckers certainly have the ability to spoil the party, but Frank is confident that the Rams can get the job done, and made a point of mentioning Drew Morris in net for New Canaan as a standout performer.
Also on the Tuesday rundown as softball highlights, as Stamford knocked off Danbury at Stamford High School. Plus girls lacrosse is examined among other topics. It's probably no surprise that the top two teams in girls lax are Darien and New Canaan, and that's a game that the HAN Network will broadcast in May.
