Connecticut Sports Talk, April 25
Monday's show kicks off with a visit from Dan Arestia, who comes on to talk lacrosse with Rob Adams and Donald Eng. Dan, who played lacrosse at New Canaan High School and Trinity College, as well as coached under Jeff Braimeier at Darien, discusses the upcoming national showdown between the Rams and Blue Wave. Dan is a member of the HAN Network, working at the Darien Times.
Saturday's Darien/New Canaan game will feature two teams in the 10 in the country, and Dan breaks down what makes them both so special. Dan tells Rob and Don he expects a big crowd when the two meet in Darien this weekend. The game will be broadcast live in high definition on the HAN Network.
Rob and Don also recap the weekend with some of the highlights, along with a preview of the Monday schedule. On the docket is the FCIAC softball meeting at Stamford High School, as the Black Knights host the Danbury Hatters. Rob, along with AJ Szymanowski, will have the call at 4 p.m.
Also, we take a moment to remember Rich Magdon, the former Fairfield Prep coach who died on Sunday at the age of 67.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaced HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
