Collier to discuss colonial CT

The Orange Congregational Church Bicentennial Celebration continues with an address by Dr. Christopher Collier Sunday, Jan. 23. The talk "Churches, Towns and Ecclesiastical Societies in Colonial Connecticut" will explore the roll of state government in the formation of churches in Connecticut.

Collier is the retired state historian for Connecticut and a resident of Orange. The church is celebrating its founding in 1805. The talk will begin at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary. A reception will follow. Call the church office at 795-9749 for more information.
