City's 375th Gala canceled, but still many events planned

The City of Milford's 375th Anniversary Committee just announced that the Celebration Gala is canceled.

The City of Milford’s 375th Anniversary Celebration Gala had been planned for Saturday, March 29, at Lauralton Hall. Organizers did not say why it was canceled.

There are still other opportunities to celebrate the city’s birthday.

On Friday, March 28, at 7 p.m. life-long resident and local history expert Dave Gregory will lead a nostalgic tour of mid-century Milford through stories and slides about Milford in the '40s through the early '60s.

The program will be presented at the First United Church of Christ, Congregational, 34 West Main Street, and is free and open to the public, with refreshments.
