Due to the anticipated magnitude of the approaching blizzard, the City of Milford has canceled Tuesday trash and recycling pickups.

Sanitation will make every reasonable effort to collect Tuesday’s trash on Wednesday, but they aren’t promising anything.

“Please try to keep the garbage cans and recycling containers out of the street as this will make it difficult for the snowplows to clear the streets,” city officials said in a press release. “The transfer station will also be closed on Tuesday.”

In his press release, Mayor Ben Blake said he thanks all residents for their patience during the storm.
