City Hall’s 100th was celebrated with ghost stories
Editor's Note: Note that this event has already taken place.
Milford celebrated City Hall’s 100th anniversary last Friday with the Ghosts of City Hall.
As bands played on June 17, 1916, officials spoke and crowds cheered on the steps of City Hall during a ceremony to dedicate the building.
One hundred years later on June 17, 2016, the building's centennial was celebrated on those same front steps with stories of the building’s official history, as well as its haunted one.
The event was sponsored by the City of Milford.
Stories were told by Spirits of Milford Ghost Walks guide Cindy Wolfe Boynton, who offers walking ghost tours of downtown Milford on weekends throughout the year.
