‘Chow Down’ to kick off Restaurant Week
MILFORD >> The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce will present “Chow Down Milford,” a Milford Restaurant Week kickoff sampler on Oct. 3.
The tasting will offer local residents and visitors a chance to sample dishes from restaurants participating in Milford Restaurant Week, as well as other local wines, beers and spirits.
It will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Costa-Azzurra Restaurant on Broadway. Attendees will be able to taste food and drinks from every station.
Participating restaurants include: Bar Louie, Bin 100 Restaurant, Costa-Azzurra, Eli’s Tavern, Fonda La Paloma, Gusto Trattoria/Italian Restaurant, Plan B Burger Bar, Reggiano’s Pizza & Pasta Restaurant, Scribner’s Restaurant and Spirit Brewing.
The kickoff cost is $25 per person through Sept. 30; $30 beginning Oct. 1, and $35 at the door.

Milford Restaurant Week will run Oct. 9-15, with more than 10 restaurants offering special prix fixe fare.
Participants: Archie Moore’s, Bar Louie, Bin 100 Restaurant, Bridge House Restaurant, Eli’s Tavern, Fonda La Palmona, Gusto Trattoria/Italian Restaurant, Garden Grille at the Hilton Garden Inn Milford, Monty’s River Grille at Great River Golf Club, Plan B Burger Bar, Rainbow Gardens, Reggiano’s Pizza & Pasta Restaurant, SBC Restaurant and Beer Bar, Scribner’s Restaurant and Stonebridge Restaurant.
Dinners will be $20.95 or $27.95. Where available, a prix fixe lunch menu will be offered at $14.95 or $17.95. Calls ahead and reservations are suggested.
