The forecast this week in Connecticut calls for chilly temperatures and the possibility of more snow showers, according to National Weather Service.

Monday is expected to bring mostly sunny skies, with a high near 40 degrees. There will be a light breeze in the morning. Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 23 degrees.

Tuesday brings cloudy skies and a high around 40 degrees, with wind-chill values making the temperature feel closer to 25 to 35 degrees, the weather service said. Tuesday night is expected to see partly cloudy skies and a low around 30 degrees.

It’ll be mostly sunny Wednesday, with a high near 45 degrees and a low around 30 degrees at night.

There’s a chance of rain and snow showers after 2 a.m. Thursday, followed by another chance of rain and snow showers before 9 a.m. The forecast says the precipitation will then change to rain showers. It’ll be mostly cloudy, with a high near 50 degrees. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies Thursday night, with a low around 33 degrees.

Friday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high near 45 degrees. It’ll be partly cloudy at night, with a low near 30 degrees.

Saturday is expected to bring a chance of snow showers overnight that carries into the morning. It’ll be mostly sunny with a high near 45 degrees. Saturday night brings partly cloudy skies and a low temperature around 25 degrees.

It’ll be mostly sunny on Sunday, with a high near 40 degrees.
