ORANGE — Artists, Doris Havas Rogan of Cheshire and Elizabeth Hundt Scott of Bethany (formerly Cheshire) will exhibit their artwork through the month of February at the “Art Gallery” on the second floor in the Case Memorial Library, 176 Tyler City Road.

A reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. (snow date is Feb. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m). Library hours are Monday to Thursday, 10 to 8 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The exhibit will feature original artwork and archival prints.

Rogan has a bold, colorist approach, depicting landscapes from her travels, still life and portraits, working in a variety of media including colored pencil, pastels, oils and pen and ink.

Scott works in pencil, colored pencil and watercolor, sensitively rendering natural and everyday objects and more recently has included portraits and figures.
