Pantone announced "Classic Blue" as their 2020 Color of the Year—a shade that's supposed to invoke comfort as we head into a new decade.
Described as “a boundless blue evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky," Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman says that Classic Blue "encourages us to look beyond the obvious to expand our thinking."
Looking back at 2019, some might say blue was Connecticut's Color of the Year. From costume parties to graduations, blue was all around us these past 12 months—take a look back at some of the state's best moments in the color.
