Danbury (4-0, 1-0), which returns much of its roster from a team that qualified for the FCIAC tournament last year, is at the forefront of the contenders this season. Norwalk (0-4, 0-1), meanwhile has struggled so far this season and is still looking for its first victory. The Bears fell to Harding 92-77 in their opener, before losing to Masuk 66-60, Ridgefield 52-38, and on Tuesday to Trinity Catholic, 76-64.

The HAN Network will be covering numerous events throughout the FCIAC’s winter season, including ice hockey, basketball, wrestling, swimming and diving, gymnastics and the conference’s postseason championships.

We'll have both ends of the St. Joseph-Trumbull boys and girls basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 9.
