Boys & Girls Club tries to break world record for exercising

The Boys & Girls Club, including the club in Milford, hopes to get its name into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The club is pursuing a record for “Most People Exercising to a Fitness Video within 24-Hours at Multiple Locations,” according to Milford Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Megan Altomare.

All the exercising takes place late this afternoon.

The video that will be shown nationwide at all of the Boys & Girls Club locations was created by the Milford Boys & Girls Club.

The award winning video was submitted as part of a nationwide contest for the best fitness video for this attempt and features Milford Boys & Girls members and was produced by PixelThrust.

“This event highlights the Boys & Girls Clubs commitment to members' well-being,” said Jill DeWerdt, program director. “Improving the fitness of club members and promoting healthy living and active lifestyles is a top priority of the Milford Boys & Girls Club.”
