Parade is rain or shine and lineup is at 9 a.m. with parade kick-off at 10 a.m. from the Bethany Airport (Rt. 63) Southbound to Bethany Town Hall, Peck Road. Ceremony honoring veterans will follow immediately after the parade ends at Bethany Town Hall.

The keynote address speaker is Army National Guard Lt. Col. Timothy VanDeventer, who currently serves with the MA Guard as the 26th MEB as the Fire Support coordinator (FSCOORD) and has deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq several times. Also, he is a Connecticut State Trooper assigned as the Resident Trooper to Prospect. Our Parade Grand Marshall is Bethany Robert Davis, Senior, a longtime Bethany resident who is a WW II veteran.

Please note: Access for parade drop-off at the main airport entrance on Rt. 63 will be a one directional traffic pattern. Exit will be the North Driveway by Fire Headquarters onto Rt. 63. We ask that you drive in a slow, safe manner and follow the traffic pattern/instructions so that parade participants are kept safe.

You can't miss the military personnel and equipment, school bands, local organizations, animals and yes, those awesome vehicles - there is something for everyone. A wonderful Bethany family event that will make lasting memories.
