The Milford Fine Arts Council has a new director, local artist Paige Miglio.
The previous executive director, Van Parker, resigned to join his wife, who has taken a corporate management position in Virginia.
Parker had replaced long-time executive director William Meddick.
The board offered the position to Miglio and she accepted.
Miglio is a Milford resident and is active in the community, and she is a member of the Milford Fine Arts Council. She spearheaded an effort recently to create murals around the city.
“She is a professional artist who is creative and passionate about the arts,” according to a press release from the Milford Fine Arts Council. “We are very excited about her new role with MFAC.”
Miglio started her new job this week.
