Ansonia police seek suspect in violent domestic assault
Ansonia Police are requesting assistance in finding a man they say held a woman at knifepoint, assaulted her and choked her unconscious during a violent domestic incident that began on Saturday, July 23, and continued into Sunday, July 24.
Ansonia police were made aware of the incident on Monday, July 25, and obtained a warrant for the arrest of Justin Nicholas Bohn of Winter Street in Ansonia.
Bohn, who turned 38 on Monday, is described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, according to police.
Bohn is wanted for second-degree kidnapping, interfering with emergency calls, second-degree strangulation, second-degree threatening and second-degree assault.
The court has set a bond of $1 million for Bohn when he is captured.
Ansonia Police are asking anyone who knows Bohn or sees him to contact them at 203-735-1885. Police warn against approaching him, as he is being considered dangerous.
