Annual Rotary charity auction set

Support tsunami relief, Amber Alert, local scholarships and other local charities.

The Rotary Club of Orange will host its 12th Annual Charity Auction on Sunday, March 6 at Race Brook Country Club on Route 34 in Orange from1 to 6 p.m.

Enjoy a buffet throughout the event featuring hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, carving stations and other edibles and good libations. Tickets are $22 per person.

Come enjoy a great afternoon of good food, fellowship, fabulous auction items,

and leave with some great bargains.

The Preview of items runs from 1 to 2 p.m., the Silent Auction will be ongoing from 1 to 3 p.m., the Main Goods and Services Auction will start at 3 p.m. with the wrap up and check out from 5 to 6 p.m.

Some of the items for auction include gift certificates for shopping, pampering and to the area's most popular and finer restaurants, vacation packages, large screen TVs, jewelry, golf outings and equipment, sporting events, theatre tickets, heating oil and new this year a surprise balloon raffle.

Tickets can be obtained from any Orange Rotarian or at the following locations Orange Fence & Supply Co., 205 Boston Post Road; Chip's Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road, Around The Towns Magazine, 370 Boston Post Road; all in Orange; Amity Mobil at the intersection of Route 63 & 69 on the Woodbridge/New Haven line; and at Milford Photo, 22 River Street, Milford.

You can mail $22 per ticket to Rotary Club of Orange Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Orange, CT 06477-0894. Mail order ticket orders received by Feb. 18 will be mailed to you; later orders will be confirmed by phone and held at the door for pick up at the event.
