WOODBRIDGE >> The Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter is offering a free Family Caregiver Series for family members and friends of people with any type of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. This four part series will take place at Coachman Square at Woodbridge, 21 Bradley Road. A light dinner will be served. The classes will run on four consecutive Wednesdays, beginning on March 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Guest speakers will address the following topics:

• March 2: Overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Types of Dementia, Treatment/Research, and Alzheimer’s Association Programs and Services.

• March 9: Communication Techniques, Behavioral Challenges/Strategies, and Dining with Dignity.

• March 16: Keeping the Caregiver Healthy, Community Resources, and Family Dynamics.

• March 23: Legal and Financial Issues.
