Actress Loretta Swit talks with HAN Network

Actress Loretta Swit, who won two Emmys for her performance as Major Margaret Houlihan for 11 seasons on M*A*S*H*, joins the HAN Network for a special interview with Rob Adams on Coffee Break.

Rob touches on Ms. Swit's most famous role as the fiery head nurse of the 4077th M*A*S*H unit. Among the most popular television programs ever, the show's finale was seen by nearly 106 million people in the United States in February, 1983.

Ms. Swit has accomplished much more than just portraying "Hot Lips" Houlihan. She is an accomplished stage actress, and will be seen at The Klein in Bridgeport on Sunday, May 1 in a one-woman play, Eleanor Roosevelt: Her Secret Journey. Rob asks Ms. Swit about things she learned regarding Mrs. Roosevelt, and what inspired her to play the role.

Rob touches on other pieces of Ms. Swit's career, including her performance as the originals Christine Cagney in Cagney & Lacey.

Among the many passions of Loretta Swit is her love of animals. She has been named Woman of the Year by both the Animal Protection Institute and the International Fund For Animal Welfare for her support of what she calls "animal companions."
