7th-grade picnic ends summer as towns plan another event
WOODBRIDGE >> The annual Seventh Grade Picnic, held Aug. 25 on the Green on Meetinghouse Lane, brought teens together from Woodbridge and Bethany to meet, dance, go down the Giant Slide and play some games.
The picnic is designed for students to see old friends and meet new ones as they celebrate the end of summer.
Woodbridge and Bethany seventh- and eighth-graders may attend the Back to School Bash at 7-9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, on the Woodbridge Green.
In case of rain, the event moves into the gym.
It will include the Meltdown Inflatable, interactive D.J., games, and snacks. Fee is $5, with a free raffle.
Youth Services is seeking volunteers, and donations for raffle prizes. Call 203-389-3429 to help.
Woodbridge Youth Services and the town of Bethany are sponsoring the program.
