Milford 375th Anniversary Committee will formally inter the Milford Time Capsule to be opened upon Milford’s 400th anniversary in 2039.
The official burial of the time capsule will take place on River Street, between Milford’s City Hall and the Parsons Government Building. People will start gathering at 5:30 p.m., and the ceremony will start at 6 p.m. Residents are invited.
The hole for the capsule was dug by Jim Mallico III, and the vault was donated by Norwalk Vault. More than 400 submissions from more than 160 people helped fill the fault.
