GIRLS SOCCER: Kempner rallies in second half for win over Elkins

A recap of girls soccer action in Fort Bend ISD from Tuesday night.

Kempner 2, Elkins 1

Tatiana Rodriguez scored for Elkins in the first half, but Kempner got the best of the second half. Kelley O'Dwyer scored eight minutes into the half on an assist from Brittany Daniels. Daniels scored the winner four minutes later when she got onto the end of Isabelle Wright's corner kick.

Dulles 0*, Hightower 0

Dulles got a strong performance from goalkeeper Dana Layne throughout regulation and the shootout. Layne made three saves in regulation and stopped all five shots in the shootout as Dulles won that, 1-0, to earn the extra point in the standings. Kristen Badora scored the shootout goal.

Austin 5, Willowridge 0

Eileen Saa scored two goals as Austin increased its district unbeaten streak to 79 games. Lena Whitt and Taylor Derr each had one goal and one assist. Zawadia Lefang scored one goal, and Marianna Hadjiloiziu had one assist.

Travis 10, Bush 0

Anna Bogaard scored three goals, and Joyce Abiodun and Lala Montilla scored two goals apiece. Callie Ballard, Connor Ryder and McKenna Mitchell scored one goal apiece.

Clements 8, Marshall 0

Eight players scored for Clements. They were C.C. Cole, Savannah LaRicci, Taylor Stubenrouch, Meg Mougel, Kate Beskow, Sammi Sharp, Erika Dicosimo and Michelle Zvonkovic.
