Milford man arrested after allegedly threatening woman with baseball bat
MILFORD — A city man was arrested and charged Friday after allegedly threatening a woman with a baseball bat, according to the Milford Police Department.
James Donahue, 56, of Tower Street, was charged with second-degree threatening and violating conditions of release.
Police responded to a residence for a threatening incident soon after 10 p.m., according to the department.
“Investigation led to the arrest of Donahue who is accused of threatening a female with a baseball bat. Donahue posted bond and was released. Donahue was arrested again a few hours later and is accused of returning to the residence in violation of his conditions of release,” police said.
Donahue is next scheduled to appear in court May 27, according to state judicial records. He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. He has not yet entered a plea to the charges against him.
