MILFORD — Two men reported to be unruly patrons were arrested within an hour of each other early Saturday morning at two Daniel Street restaurants, police said.

Police first responded to the Stonebridge Restaurant located at 50 Daniel St. around 1 a.m., when an investigation led to the arrest of 21-year-old Christopher Franco.

The West Haven resident has been accused of striking a security personnel after being asked to leave for the night due to his behavior, according to a police statement released Monday.

Approximately an hour later, police responded to Eli’s Tavern located at 21 Daniel St. for a report of a patron refusing to leave after closing.

Peter Zullo, 32, was arrested for declining to leave the business after being told it was closed, police said. The Milford resident has also been accused of actively resisting officers as they attempted to escort him out.

Zullo, of Ettadore Parkway, was charged with disorderly conduct, first-degree criminal trespassing and interfering/resisting an officer.

Franco, of Maltby Avenue, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault and interfering/resisting an officer.

Both men were released on a promise to appear in court on July 30.
