Police: ‘No danger to the public’ after Milford shooting
MILFORD — A female victim was in stable condition Tuesday after a late-night shooting in the city that investigators said was an “isolated” incident, according to police.
Shortly before midnight Monday, police responded to a Melba Street apartment complex for a call about a person shot in the area.
First responders found the female victim and immediately provided medical care, police said. As of Tuesday morning, the victim was in stable condition.
Detectives continue to investigate the incident, which police said was “isolated.”
“There is no danger to the public,” the department stressed.
