Bridgeport man charged with exposing himself on train
BRIDGEPORT - A local man was in custody after police said he exposed himself on the train to a Milford high school student.
Darrell White, 43, of Harborview Avenue, was charged Friday with impairing the morals of children, public indecency and second-degree breach of peace.
He was being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
Police said the 13-year-old victim, a student at Lauralton Hall, was riding home on the train on Oct. 8, when she noticed White staring at her.
The victim tried ignoring White by doing her homework but at some point, she looked up and saw White standing near her with his pants open, police said. The girl recorded White with her cell phone and then went looking for a conductor.
Police said the girl got off the train when it pulled into her station and she told her mother, who was waiting for her, what had occurred on the train.
Police said they were able to identify White, who has a criminal record, from the victim’s recording.
