There has been movement on the men’s and women’s college hockey rankings.

Here are the state’s national rankings.

Quinnipiac fell to No. 7 in the USCHO.com rankings after their split in Maine last weekend. The Bobcats fell from third.

Meanwhile, UConn climbed from No. 14 to No. 10 after splitting a weekend series at Boston University.

In the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, Quinnipiac fell from third to sixth while UConn climbed from 13th to 10th.

Quinnipiac was upset 4-0 in Orono, Maine Saturday as the Black Bears scored three goals in the span of  3:15 in the third period. On Sunday, the Bobcats (3-1-2) responded with a 6-2 win over Maine (2-3-0)

UConn (6-1-1) opened the weekend with a 4-3 win over No. 9 BU (3-2) before losing its first game of the season, 5-2 Saturday in Boston.

Quinnipiac (7-0) held steady in the USCHO.com rankings, remaining at No. 7 after not playing last week. The Bobcats are also seventh in the USA Today/USA Hockey poll.

Yale is eighth and ninth in the respective polls. UConn received votes in both polls, but the Huskies were not ranked.

The Bobcats next opportunity to climb the poll comes this weekend when Cornell visits M&T Bank Arena Friday and Saturday. Yale opens its season Friday night at Harvard and plays Saturday night at Dartmouth.
