The City of Milford will host the annual Veteran's Day Parade on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. All units and marchers are asked to assemble at the Daniel Wasson Field parking lot at 1 p.m.

This year's Parade Grand Marshall will be Russell Edwards of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 251, who will lead the parade to the reviewing stand.

Following the parade, guest speaker Commander Elizabeth “Betsy” Walsh, DAV Chapter 15, will say a few inspirational words honoring veterans who have served the country to ensure and preserve freedoms.

After the parade at 3:30 p.m. at Milford City Hall, the Milford Concert Band will perform a free concert.

The City Veteran's Day Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in front of City Hall at 10:45 a.m.

Milford's 375th Committee will bring Milford its biggest Veterans Day celebrations ever on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a host of events at Lisman's Landing in Downtown Milford. There will be music, events and fireworks.
