On Friday, Nov. 21, The United Church of Christ in Devon will show the movie “Maleficent.” According to the new plot, Maleficent was once a fairy, with wings, who lived peacefully in the kingdom of fairies. But, she fell in love with a human and that’s where everything went wrong. Rated PG. Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner is 6 to 7 p.m. and includes a hot dog, chips, dessert, beverage and unlimited fresh popcorn. Dinner is $6, Ages 3-5 $3, under 3 is free. The movie follows and is free at the United Church of Christ in Devon, 30 Ormond Street.
