Milford actor Colin Lane will perform once again in A Child’s Christmas in Wales at the Milford Public Library on Monday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.

Lane will be accompanied by musician and singer Rebecca Zaretzky. This duo has performed this holiday favorite at many other venues in Connecticut, and it is their fifth season at the Milford Public Library.

2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dylan Thomas, the acclaimed author of A Child's Christmas in Wales and Lane is dedicating his performance to Thomas.

Dylan Thomas's story is a recollection of his many Christmas holidays and takes place in the small town of Swansea, a seaport town in Wales, much like Milford.

A veteran actor and Milford resident, Lane has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, at most regional theaters, and on film and TV. He was most recently scene in the Elm Shakespeare's production of Pericles.

Zaretzky, an Oxford resident, Lauralton Hall and Boston Conservatory of Music graduate, is a young musical theater actress, who has appeared in several avant-garde East 4th Street musicals, and with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival.

The Milford Public Library is located at 57 New Haven Avenue and the performance is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.

The performance is produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois and is funded by the Friends of Milford Library.
