Pray the Rosary

The public is invited to pray an International Rosary on Tuesday, Oct. 20 beginning at 7 p.m. at Saint Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue in Milford. Catholics around the world recite the Rosary, especially during October. Multi-lingual Saint Ann parishioners will lead each decade in a different language: French, Italian, Portuguese, Tagalog and Polish.

Boating course

USCG Aux 23-3 is holding a Class Oct. 10. Successful completion of this 8 hour ABS course satisfies the Connecticut licensing requirements for both boats and Personal Watercraft (PWC). Vendors wanted

Christ the Redeemer Church Ladies Guild, 325 Oronoque Rd. in Milford will be having their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Baked goods, luncheon foods, Chinese auction,  and vendors will be there. Bottle drive planned

Jonathan Law Marching Band & Color Guard will hold a can and bottle drive on the third Saturday of every month, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Jonathan Law parking lot.

Bottle fundraiser

On Sunday, Oct. 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sea Scout Ship 721 will hold its monthly bottle and can collection fundraiser. Bring redeemable bottles and cans to the parking lot behind Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf Street. Those interested in the Sea Scouting program may stop by the fundraiser.

Families Anonymous meets

Families Anonymous is a free, self-help, 12-step support group for adults concerned about the drug, alcohol or related behavioral problems of a relative or friend. The group meets Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church Hall, 283 Bridgeport Ave. Milford. No registration is required. Caring Network

The Caring Network, a free ongoing support group for adults who have lost a loved one through death, meets Wednesday, Oct. 7 and Wednesday, Oct. 21, and the first and third Wednesdays of every month, on the Bridges campus, at 949 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford, from 6 -8 p.m. Adults do not need to register. The group is facilitated by a Bridges counselor and is sponsored by Bridges A Community Support System, and Cody-White Funeral Home.
