The Herbcrafters of the Milford Historical Society will meet on Monday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Bryan-Downs House, 34 High Street.

Members will work on crafts that will be sold at the Society’s Yankee Peddler Fair planned for Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to learning about herbs and their uses, both in Colonial times and today, the group meets periodically to tend a large herb garden on the grounds of the society. They will be doing an end-of-the season cleanup on Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m. Interested persons are invited to view the garden and learn about the group.

Members meet on the fourth Monday of the month. For more information, call Ardienne Damicis at 203-877-1851. To see photos of the garden go to the web site, milfordhistoricalsociety.com, and click on Herb Garden.
