The Suzanne Sheridan Band will perform at the Center for the Arts, 40 Railroad Avenue, Friday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15, $10 for MFAC members.
Singer-songwriter Suzanne Sheridan has played at Gertie's Folk City and The Bitter End. She wrote music for PBS TV, The Electric Company, went on to garner Honorable Mention for a gospel song called “The Power's in You” for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Her first jingle, “Join the Pepsi People” for Pepsi won a Clio Award. She sang on National Network Jingles for Hasbro Toys, Hardees, and Texaco Gas to name a few. She is joined by Ruth Ahlers on saxophone, Bob Cooper on piano/keyboard and Marshal Rosenberg on drums.
