Classical guitarist Marcin Dylla performs

Hailed by Washington Post as “among the most gifted guitarists on the planet” Polish guitarist Marcin Dylla will perform at the Milford Center for the Arts Saturday, April 5, at 8 p.m.

A classical guitarist, Dylla has won many awards, including 19 first prizes from 1996-2007 at international music competitions.

After winning a Guitar Foundation of America Competition he toured all the major cities in the United States.

During his Connecticut visit Dylla will also give a master-class/meet the artist reception at the Milford Center for the Arts the Sunday following his concert on April 6 at 2 p.m.

Admission for the master class is $10.

The performance is sponsored by The New England Guitar Society, which was established to create a nurturing environment for classical guitarists to meet, share ideas, perform, compose, teach and grow as musicians.
