Audubon plans first fall ‘Spook-tacular’
The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Coastal Center at Milford Point will host its first Halloween event Saturday, Nov. 2: Fall Spook-tacular, a fun carnival-inspired event.
There will be different age appropriate activities, including caramel apple dipping, carnival games, face painting, crafts, live animals, music, pumpkin bowling costume contest and more.
For older children there will be ghost stories around a fire and roasting marshmallows.
Times are as follows: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. events for children 6 and under; 12:30-2:30 p.m. for children ages 6-10, and 2:30-5 p.m. for children 10-and over.
Cost is $4 for the child of a Society member; $6 for non-members.
