A Charlie Brown Christmas comes to Milford stage
The Milford Recreation Department Community Theatre will present A Charlie Brown Christmas, by Charles M. Schulz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, with stage adaptation by Eric Schaeffer.
Directed by Michael R. Mele, the show will be Nov. 20 at 6:30 and 8 p.m. and Nov. 21 at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. at the Parsons Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 70 West River Street, Milford.
Tickets are $5 for children 5 and under; $8 seniors; $10 general admission.

Performing at the 6:30 and 2 p.m. shows are Emma Acri, Tommy Acri, Kelly Aspras, Mia Cenholt-Hauland, Helen Chizmazia, Gabrielle Coffin, Maya Coffin, Gavin Falcingo, Chris Godeck, Abbey Lonergan, Michael Muarati, Melita Maurati and Evelyn Santoro.
Performing at the 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. shows are Alexa Darak, Coltin Darak, Mia Davi, Kaleigh Deangelo, Sage Hampton, Noelle Joobeur, Jay Maroney, Amelia McGonigle, Alexandra Montero, Sidney Wiederhold and Lindsay Wiederhold.
Performing at the noon and 6 p.m. shows are Ellie Clay, Caroline Collen, Gabrielle Fino, Madison Frimpter, Charlotte Lavechia, Jackson Lavechia, Jack McInnis, Jaimie Mcnulty, Austin Moral, Allyza Moral, Erin Schmitt, Katie Servas and Melissa Servas.
Performing at both 8 p.m. shows are Megan Gossett, Kayla Hansen, Jeff Hefland, Ava Lang, Jenna Lang, Colleen Leary, Anna Lynch, Michael R. Mele, April Scepanski, Michael Shannon and Jubilee Witte.
There will be pictures with santa after the 6:30, 10, 12, 2, 4, and 6 p.m.
Attendees can join Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the whole Peanuts gang as they grapple with the real meaning of Christmas and celebrate the 50th anniversary of this classic animated television special.
