Law’s Naheim Washington to compete at Nationals

Naheim Washington was the fastest freshman at the State Open.

Jonathan Law freshman Naheim Washington has qualified and will be competing at the New Balance Outdoor National Championships this Friday in Greensboro, N.C.

“Naheim had a great freshman season and qualified for nationals with a 11.03 time in the 100-meter dash,” said Law coach Joe Beler, whose Lawmen went 12-1. “He qualified and competed in the Class MM state championships in the 4X100 (third place), 100 (made finals and placed seventh) and the 4×400.

“At the state opens, Naheim was the fastest freshman in the state and placed 11th. He qualfied  and competed in the New Balance Indoor Championships at the Armory this past indoor season.”

In Class MM, Law’s 4×100 team of Alex Pratcher, Washington, Ethan Saley and Mike Plaskon took third, Derrick McLaughlin placed fourth in the triple jump.
