Richard Joseph Thibodeau, 85, retired from the Bridgeport Police Department, served as a U.S. Federal Marshall, husband of Rose Marie Thibodeau, died Oct. 6.
Born on Nov. 1, 1930; U.S. Navy, Korean War.
Survived by nine children, Richard Thibodeau (Patricia) of Bridgeport, Cynthia Lula (Adam) of Milford, James Thibodeau (Janice) of Monroe, Patricia Testa (Michael) of Bridgeport, Thomas Thibodeau (Susan) of Monroe, Janette Thibodeau of Derby, Michael Thibodeau of Bridgeport, Tracey Osterberg (John) of Trumbull, Rose Thibodeau of Bridgeport, 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Predeceased by his mother, Helen (Moore) Thibodeau, his father, James Thibodeau, his brothers, Edward Thibodeau (Elizabeth) and James Thibodeau, and his son, Matthew Thibodeau.
Calling hours: Monday, Oct. 10, 4-8 p.m., Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Services: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 10 a.m., St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
