Reader grateful for bus shelter

Dear Editor:

As a regular bus rider, whose family also depends upon public transportation, I am delighted that the Milford Transit District will construct a new bus shelter on Bridgeport Avenue, near K-Mart Plaza.

A big thank you goes to my state representative, Kim Rose, who brought the need for a shelter to Henry Jadach, Executive Director of the Milford Transit District, and then pushed for state approvals.

It didn’t happen overnight. It took about two years to gain state and local agency approvals to make it happen.

That really impressed me and gives me hope– public officials who “keep at it” until something gets done. Thanks again, Kim.
