Sound U11s win Boston's Memorial Day tourney crown

MM-SPTS-Paolini-Youth-TeamThe Connecticut Football Club (CFC) Sound U11 girls soccer team won the Needham Memorial Day Tournament in Boston. Made up of players from Milford, Orange and surrounding towns, the Sound needed to, and did, win by four goals to advance from the play-in round. They then defeated MA Aztecs, 4-2, in the semifinals and the Bayside Bolts, 1-0, in the title game. Team members (front row l-r) are: Toni Callahan and Sonia Ferri; (second row) Addison Twohill, Emmalee Ianniello, Carly Fresher, Megan Russo, Keegan Bailey and Isabella Renz; (third row) coach Christine Huber, Beth Arnold, Julia Bogen, Julia Kosinski, Morgan Taylor, Bella Antonucci, Adrianna Fernicola and coach Nicole Pacapelli.
