Alethia “Lea” Bowe
Alethia “Lea” Bowe, 83, of Milford, wife of the late John Bowe Sr., died Feb. 17, after a brief illness at Milford Hospital.
Born Oct. 7, 1928 in Lewisberry, Pa. she was the daughter of Robert and Thelma Funk Wolfe.
Mrs. Bowe was a waitress at the former Villa Nova in Milford and a cook at Lauralton Hall and Golden Hill Health Care.
She was a member of the Germania-Schwaben Society in Bridgeport and Calvary Alliance Church in Milford. She and her husband enjoyed the beach; spending their time in Ocean City, Md. and Paradise Island, in the Bahamas.
She is survived by her two sons, Bob Bowe and John Bowe Jr. and his wife, Patricia and grandson, Daniel Bowe, all of Milford; two sisters, Jo Anne Kulikowski of Huntington and Cynthia DeLuca and her husband, Albert of Milford; and many nieces and nephews.
Services are Sunday, Feb. 26, 11 a.m., Calvary Alliance Church, 273 Orange Ave., Milford.
