Estelle Lazarkiewicz “Stasha” Soroka
Estelle Lazarkiewicz “Stasha” Soroka, 84, formerly of Milford and Stratford, wife of the late Claude Paul Soroka, died Jan. 31, in Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 24, 1927 in Fairfield.
Mrs. Soroka lived most of her life in Milford, then resided with her daughter Karen in Stratford. For the past two years, she lived at St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull, where she came into her own, always sharing a kind smile and a laugh, her family said.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Soroka and her husband, Lawrence Karpel of East Haven, Susan Soroka and her husband, Paul Jaser of Milford, and Karen E. Soares (Soroka) and her husband, Guy P. Soares of Stratford; and grandsons, Justin P. Soares, Cameron M. Soares, Lawrence Soroka, and Paul Jaser Jr.
Visiting hours are Monday, Feb. 6, 4-7 p.m., Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. All other services are private.
