William Francis Cooper Sr.
William Francis Cooper Sr., 82, of Milford, died Jan. 28, in Connecticut Hospice, Branford.
Son of the late William Alonso and Agnes McLain Cooper, he was born May 5, 1929 in Bayard, Iowa.
Mr. Cooper served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Before retiring, he was employed as an accountant for General Electric.
Survivors include his children, William Cooper Jr. of Orange, James Cooper and his wife, Laurie of Milford, John Cooper of Charlotte, N.C., Sandra Braemer and her husband, Richard of Shelton and Mary Ann Galvin and her husband, Patrick of Union Dale, N.Y.; and grandchildren, James Cooper Jr., Melissa Cooper, William Behjoue and Brady Cooper.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Jan. 31, 6-8 p.m., Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held during the calling hours. Burial is private.
